Digitaria bicornis (Lam.) Roem. & Schult.

Recognition:  Generally neither rhizomatous nor stoloniferous or, if so, only slightly.  Lower glume absent to 0.9 mm.  Spikelets 2.6-3.7 mm.  Lower lemma with marginal hairs about 1 mm, these with stiff pectinate bristles, the veins evenly spaced (vs. veins crowded near margin, the marginal hairs < 1 mm in D. ciliaris).
