Paspalum boscianum Flugge

Natural range:  Southeastern U.S. to South America

Habitat:  Disturbed areas, prefers dry sites

Florida status:   Native

Recognition:   Sheaths glabrous.  Spikelets paired and 2-2.2 mm.  5 veins on upper glume, the lower lemma with 3-5 veins.   The spikes diverge often regularly and near-horizontally like steps in a ladder.
