Sporobolus floridanus Chapm.

Natural range:  Southeastern U.S.

Habitat:  Wet pinewoods, other low, moist sites

Florida status:  Native. Unusual in our area, if present at all

Recognition:  Large for a Sporobolus, often > 1 m tall.  Spikelets unusually large (mostly 4-6 mm)
