Distribution:   S.E.U.S., Caribbean

Habitat:  Sandy pinelands, according to FNA especially among Longleaf Pine (which is not in our counties)

Recognition: Leaf blades 2-4 mm long, grayish; achene rough-surfaced, 2.5-3 mm long, the body 2 mm long, with a slightly thickened collar around the base of the tubercle
